New camping spot?

Last week Steve and I found a State Park online. We went today to check out its possibilities.
I hope we can go camping here soon, it's kid-friendly, with picnic tables and playgrounds in several locations.
Next to the Gulf, there are 3 parking areas with trails, a lookout tower, and lots to explore.
It's right off the Gulf of Mexico.
There are several trails.
Swimming, fishing, kayaking and canoeing are available.

Steve did a little skit for me in the ampitheater :)

That's sand, not snow...it was 62 today.
These little marsh rabbits are everywhere, we also saw 2 deer right off the trail and lots of birds.

Yard Improving

 Before...
 ...during...
The dead scrappy-looking bushes ended up on the burn pile.
 Our chickies in the background.
 After!
We liked the camelia bush, so we plan to plant more in front of the house.

29 week 3D ultrasound

I have been volunteering to be a scan patient for the Florida Institute of Ultrasound.
Since I came in on the day of finals I was offered an hour of free 3D scanning, and Steve got to come too!
 He has a face!
Chubby cheeks :)
His right hand is holding his left wrist, you can see his left thumb and all his right fingers.

Christmas decorations

Merry Christmas!
I wanted to have a verse displayed above the couch for Christmas time, so I made this...
...Poster board and lots of mod podge...
I like how it refers to the Son being born...since we're expecting our son as well :)
Steve put up this shelf for me as a decorating spot, too.

Our tree with Allllllll our presents piled around :)
We always put our special angel on top.
Danielle Bryan was my secret sister, and she made this wreath for me out of fir branches.
It smells so good!

December update

We got five 3 week old chicks in May, and they have finally gotten old enough to lay.  We got our first egg from them yesterday.
The toy box that Pappap is making for Keith is coming along, too.

I can't wait to see it.
I'll be posting pictures of our Christmas decorations soon, I've not put the last bit up yet.

Surprise toy box

Here's my Pappap in Ohio. He has a 32 inch fish there!
He called me yesterday to ask what I wanted written on the lid or front of my baby's wooden toy box.
I asked what toy box, and he told me he had taken the day off fishing to build one in his workshop!
Here's a progress picture he sent me. I can't wait to see it finished!
I love you, Pap!!

Christmas Party

Tuesday, the 4th, six of Steve's Christmas Lights guys from PCC came over for a party!
I had fun with decorations :)
Steve's coworker, Rich, gave us Telestrations for Christmas. We played it tonight.

It is really the most hilarious group game ever!

Christmas Lights are Over!

Friday, November 30th PCC had their Christmas Lights Sing-a-long. After singing they counted down and Steve flipped on ALL the Christmas lights at once!  He's worked on lighting the campus since October 15th, so we are excited that he's finished with them.

Here's his workshop, he had these giant ornaments made to hang in the oak trees, he lit them with red or white lights.

He uses the TEREX to light the trees. It is so slow! It only goes 5 mph.
 The King oak is lit!!!
