Keiffer

Look who just learned how to roll over!!!
He's so proud of himself that he thinks he doesn't have to nap anymore :)

Ladies' fellowship

For our Thursday ladies get-together pastor Woody invited a couple to come teach a Refuse to Be a Victim seminar.
They showed us how to keep ourselves safer and how to defend ourselves with ordinary things like our keys.

Steve liked the throwing knives :) (no, he didn't go)

Saturday

Our last vacation day :( sadness.
Saturday morning Steve helped Jimmy Price move a piano to his home from Pensacola while I stayed home with the babies.
We did visitation, then at five we met at Ryan's for the start of our bus meeting.
It was a "new bus captain initiation". John and Adam Mitchell were there, as well as mom and dad Bryan and Jimmy Jackson's family.
After the meeting Steve and I went to the beach. The moon was enormous. Keith stayed at the Jackson's, sleeping. We've had a wonderful stay-cation!

Friday

Friday, we slept in and then went to the mall in Pensacola. Dick's Sporting Goods was having their Grand Opening.
We looked around, then went to Zales where I turned my ring in for its bi-annual check and cleaning. We sent it away to have it refinished and resized while we were at it. Since I had Keith it's too big.
We went to Old Navy and I got some flip flops, then we headed home.
After practicing with Sara for a special she has Sunday, we met the young married couples at church and went to Nikko's hibachi grill for dinner.
It was us, Nate and Dani...
Tim and Bekah Lewis, pastor and Mrs. Woody, John and Nessa...
James and Sara, Jeremy and Rachel Price, Jason and Becky, and the couple that took the first picture, Jimmy and Elizabeth Price.
Keith was in his car seat most of the time. Nessa also brought Carlie, and Sara brought Anna.
We had a great time, then as we were leaving, the car seat somehow smashed my toe. It's still throbbing. Ouch! Steve and I took Keith to Nate and Dani's and watched a movie til 1am. Keith fell right asleep in their room. We're almost finished with our vacation!

Keith!

He almost rolled over :)

Thursday

Thursday, Steve put in the two flower beds at each end of our driveway. So far we only tilled the ground up, mixed in some good soil and horse-y fertilizer, and edged them. In the next few months we'll fill them with good potting soil (Mel's Mix, for all you square foot gardeners) and add bushes and flowers.
After supper we met James and Sara at mom and dad Bryan's. we played Catan and had some yummy snacks.

:)

Steve just brought this out. He found it behind the printer! When our loving family had hidden these around the house when we were gone on a trip we must have missed a few...

Monday-Wednesday

We stayed around the house this week. We mowed the yard and cleaned out the attic.
Monday night we played Catan over at Nate and Dani's.
Tuesday, Steve raked up all the leaves and built me a swing!
We also used dad's van to bring 80 edging bricks from Lowes. We're planning on putting in two flower beds.

Sunday

Steve and I sang "Lord, Bless Our Home" as a duet Sunday morning, then Steve played for Sara and Nessa in the evening when they sang, "Holding Father's Hand". Our duet was last minute volun-told. We were the fill in :)
We spent the evening laying out a plan for our week of freedom :)

Vacation! Friday-Saturday

Steve spent all day Friday and Saturday being a good groomsman for his coworker, Jason LeNoue.
Jessica, Erica, Beth, Jen Parsons, Jason LeNue, Mike, Johnny, Steve, Jonathan.
He made a new friend, too. The guy on the left is Johnny C. I don't remember his last name :)
Johnny came over for dinner and Catan Saturday night, we played with James and Sara.

Today

Steve is a groomsman for his friend, Jason Lenove, in their wedding tomorrow. Today was a flurry of wedding-stuff for Steve and a normal day for me.
I dropped him off for the guy's brunch at La Hacienda.
I took Keith home and put him down for his nap.  While he slept I cleaned out our henhouse, played with the puppies, and picked over a gallon of blueberries from our bushes!

After the guys went swimming for a while they came back and Steve got cleaned up for the rehearsal.
I thought it was neat that Jason and all the groomsmen are tall and dark-haired :)
Mark, Johnny, Steve, and Jonathon
Keith decided to cooperate and nap for the rehearsal.
After the rehearsal dinner the wedding party decided to go-kart and then go to the beach. It was getting late and Keith was fussy so I went home instead. Keith took a short nap while I mowed the front yard, then he needed to eat again and get a bath and go to beddy-bye!
Sam, I really wanted to make it to your party! I just couldn't take Keith over and have him crying for lack of sleep. Not very conducive to having a good time :)

Miscellaneous pictures

Monday night Steve took me out to eat, we ended up at Walmart walking the aisles...
The next evening Steve had a Preacher-Men meeting. It went late and I took Keith on a walk to kill time.  We walked 3 miles and stopped at our pastor's house to visit with Mrs. Woody.
Wednesday night there was a men's meeting after church. All the Bryan ladies ended up in the nursery...I got a blurry picture of 7 of the cousins while I was sitting on the floor holding Keith.
Keith was watching me fold clothes one day and was being such a flirt!

Whiting Park

James and Sara invited all the family to an evening at the Navy boat docks. There was a kid's playground, sand volleyball, swimming, fishing, charcoal grills and several covered pavilions with tables, and if we'd come earlier we could have rented jon boats or kayaks. We stayed from 5 pm to 8 pm. Everyone but Nate and Dani's crew came.
Keith stayed at the picnic tables with all his free babysitters :)
Steve and James made sandcastles with the kids while I got some FL sunshine.
Keith did great except for putting himself to sleep at supper time. He cried for a good 10 minutes. He was all sweaty and it was noisy. Fun times tho!

LOL

Move, Dad, so I can see!

Johnny-jump up

Grandma Varshine found this toy for Keith. He loves it! After 30ish minutes of swaying he fell asleep without even letting me know!

A busy Thursday

After Keith decided to kick off his blankets and wake me up at 3 am to warm him up, I fed him at 6, then he slept til 9. At 10:30, after he earned a bath with a super big poopy diaper, we left for lunch at PCC.
After lunch I fed him and then his "aunt" Nancy and her coworkers played with him a while.
I only got a pic of Frances with him.
Then we went Fathers Day shopping at Cordova mall for a bit. I had a dr appt at 2 pm, so we only had an hour.
My LAST appt!!
When I got home I fed Keiffer and put him down for a nap. Steve and I bathed the dogs before making supper.
All clean now!
Pretty Twig :)
John, Nessa, and Carlie came for supper and Catan, they brought ice cream bars!
Keith slept from 3 pm to 6 pm, then after eating he went down at 7:30. He must have really been worn out!
