Newest family addition: February 25

February first I started praying for a vehicle to replace Steve's totaled work car. All I wanted was "something silver that seats seven". Here she is. 

2012 KIA Sedona. I'm in love. 

It has tan leather interior, fully automatic...everything!

After taking it home we went to Steak and Shake to celebrate purchasing our first "together" vehicle. 

Keiffer is big enough to start needing a meal at restaurants!!! Ahhhhhhh!!

We're soooo happy with the van. It's truely an answer to prayer.

He's all ours!! February 24

This is the last bill from Baptist hospital! Now the bank doesn't own Keiffer anymore, he's all ours. (Thank you, tax return)

Carson/Keiffer's early party: February 24

We met Matt and Ashley Whaley at Christmas time and hit it off. Their two boys are 3 and 1. And Carson is only 6 days older than Keiffer.

We threw the two boys a joint first bday party on Monday.

Sandbox! February 21

Dad Bryan made Keiffer a sandbox for Christmas. Now that it's almost warm enough to enjoy it I decided to make it a little larger.

I added another level and then painted the whole thing bright blue. 

Steve filled it with sand, and we're good to go!

I got to watch Lily and Anna while Sara was at the dress rehearsal for homeschool recitals. They amused themselves very well.

Sink update: February 11

The kitchen sink and the bathroom sinks have always been a sore spot for me.

I remembered something my mom did under her sinks to brighten them up.

It worked wonderfully! I took extra laminate flooring tiles and cut them with scissors to fit the space. Then stuck them down.

I put away all his baby clothes and he's into toddler clothes now...

He can slide off the couch feet-first now...

Bread!

It's fluffy and soft. Mmmmm. I haven't made homemade bread in months :d

Jon and Amy

We had fun on January 31st with Jon and Amy. It was Chinese New Years so I made paper lanterns to decorate. 

Jon is not a camera-lover.
