ICE

What is this stuff all over the green plants and sandy roads? What? Ice?!!!! Yes kids, you heard right. There has been a discovery that has sent all Floridians running to gas up and get milk and bread for miles and miles around. Schools have closed and, yes, I just heard that Escambia county is declaring a state of emergency for the next two days! Stay in your beds with a good book and some hot chocolate, if your electicity makes it through this.
Now for a few visuals to back up my amazing story.
An icicle festooned porch in Northwest FL.
An icy and fanged Toyota Corolla
A poor family that posed for our photographers. (They look so happy, especially the chunky one in the middle)
Here's a large ranch-style house we drove past.

Nerd Sunday

We didn't "Nerd up" as much as Jimmy and Samantha, but we all had a ton of fun with dressing up and having Nerd contests on the church buses last Sunday.

Pappap and Grandmas visit from Ohio

Pappap and Grandma brought us down some benches that Pap made, and stayed the 18th-20th. We had a blast van hunting together. Keiffer was perfect, too.
 Hey-ro :)
Nice bench!
We are looking at a Kia Sedora in Pensacola so far.

Steve's half-birthday party

Yes, we ran out of excuses to have people over for a game night, lol. We love Aunt Nancy and Uncle Rich!!!! They brought Keiffer a book and us party hats.
Crazy fun couples, here.
Keiffer learned to flirt with his eyes and is trying it out on Nancy.
We had a great Catan game and a "special" half of a birthday cake for Steve. I iced a monster onto the corner of it ;)

Christmas shoes :)

Steve surprised me with an after Christmas shopping trip. We got me some boots and converses. I love that man!

Christmas in North Carolina

Yes, we've stretched Christmas out far too long. We drove to NC on the 29th. We took family pictures at 2 am Monday morning.
The whole family.
Siblings.
Girlies.
Keiffer got tons of aunt and uncle lovin' then!
With Liz,
Lucas,
Susie,
And Dad.
We saw a lot of friends on Monday and Tuesday. They all wanted to have Keiffer.
Granny Scruggs and Uncle Jerry.
Mrs. Elliot
On New Years' Eve Steve set up a game marathon. It was fast and furious, but Ben was the champion.
We got home in time for a break from vacationing and Steve went back to work today. :)
Happy 2014!

Christmas vacation!

Over our vacation we had family time,
Steve did some house maintenance,
Rebelled against shaving,
Drove 1063 miles in a trip to NC, saw family,
And had a wonderful time together!

Christmas with the Bryans.

We opened our gifts at home on Christmas Eve. Keith waited patiently for Steve to put together his red wagon.
We opened group gifts at Mom and Dad Bryan's that night and watched a movie.
Keith got an umbrella stroller from Anna. It's bigger than him!
Cutie...
All the kids went together and got a photo book of the grandkids for mom and dad outlining 2013.
Mewwy Chwistmas!
