Gods been good

Wow. Have you ever needed something small as a child, say one more piece of notebook paper for school, and your mom or dad walks in with a pretty spiral-bound notebook just then?
If so, you know the incredible feeling of love and care that I experience practically every day.
If I blogged about every single prayer request that Steve and I have seen answers in the past months you may well get bored with it. I never do.
Here's just two amazing ways God provided yesterday and today.
Did you know that this cup represents everything I've ever bought for my baby? (Barring the mandatory box of diapers each month, of course). Everything he's needed, from clothes to jars of baby food! he's been given free.
Last week I noticed that Keith had no socks. Little enough, right? But when we go for walks in the mornings his toes would get cold without them. Guess what Steve brought home from a coworker? A 30 gallon trash bag full of 18-24 month boy clothes and...about 15 pairs of socks, perfect fit.
There were also 3 onesies that will fit my growing baby! Which is just a bonus. Really, he has about 5 outfits right now, if I do laundry often that works fine, but those 3 extras were such a blessing.

This about sums up our life savings after bills are paid each month.
This particular month we have been praying for the money to order Steve's next semester of books. He's doing a three-year Graduate of Theology course at home. After scraping as hard as we could, we were still short $41.00. Just this afternoon I re-balanced the budget and guess what amount we had extra? $44.65! When I went to mail in his completed schoolwork, with the money to order next semester's books, the shopping cost was...$3.65. Isn't God good? Isn't he? MY God is amazing!!!!
